POLICY FOR QUALITY

Elettrica Rizzi S.p.a. is a company that operates for years in the plant engineering sector and carries out activities with the main aim of satisfying the specific needs of the customer, ensuring maximum compliance with mandatory regulations and human health and safety in the workplace .

Through the effective application by all personnel of an integrated quality, environment and safety management system, the company undertakes to develop continuous improvement of the organization and its performance in terms of quality, environment , safety and work ethics understood as:
- assurance of compliance with the Customer's requirements, with the applicable mandatory ones, including any commitments freely undertaken by the Company;
- monitoring and growth of customer satisfaction,
- prevention and protection from accidents and occupational diseases;
- occupational hygiene and medicine;
- safety of the product/service offered;
- respect for all workers' rights (pay, working hours, free association, no discrimination);
- implementation of all procedures designed to remove all forms of corruption;
- develop and update risk assessment criteria for occupational health and safety and for the environment and management procedures for emergency situations that can cause danger to humans and/or environmental impacts, with the commitment to eliminate dangers and reduce risks to health and safety in the workplace;
- strengthen and consolidate the knowledge and skills of its personnel, promoting constant training and improvement of professional skills.

Since 2003 the company has implemented the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard (in the 2015 edition since May 2018), since 2020 it has been responding to UNI ISO 45001:2018 and finally in 2023 with the integration of the 14001:2015 standard

In particular, the Company confirms its commitment to:
- prevent injuries and illnesses by analyzing and assessing the risks of accidents and adopting measures to limit any consequences;
- ensure compliance with mandatory laws and EC regulations;
- involve customers, suppliers and all interested third parties in the integrated management process;
- ensure that personnel is informed of this commitment and is consciously involved directly and through their representatives in the pursuit of corporate objectives;
- ensure the availability and efficiency of the protective equipment provided and verify its use;
- prepare the measures to ensure that third parties operating at the offices of Elettrica Rizzi adopt behaviors and procedures in accordance with the principles of this policy;
- employ personnel with qualifications and skills commensurate with the activities to which they are dedicated, also in view of high-tech job orders, setting up training programs to guarantee the necessary level of skills and their safety;
- use equipment with potential such as to allow the satisfaction of the times required by the customer;
- use suppliers who have passed the established qualifications;
- control company processes through simple and effective procedures;
- monitor the application of the systems and their performance in order to verify the real improvement.
- periodically review this policy and the Management Systems so that they remain relevant and appropriate for the Company;
- define this policy taking into consideration the context in which it operates;
- define and disseminate within the company the objectives contained in this Policy document and the related implementation programs;
- implement a careful analysis of the company's risks and opportunities in order to define action plans and objectives aimed at improving the processes, products, services offered and in relation to health and safety in the workplace;
- protect the environment and strive increasingly towards sustainable development by controlling its environmental aspects in compliance with current legislation and according to the principles of UNI EN 14001:2015;
- adopt the most advanced technologies with the aim of reducing environmental impacts and energy consumption;
- comply with all the principles contained in the Code of Ethics, in particular with regard to anti-corruption and respect for workers' rights

The dissemination of this policy and the awareness of Quality and respect for the Environment and Safety is implemented directly by the Management through periodic meetings with first-level collaborators and from these to all personnel.

The task of verifying the application and suitability of the Integrated Management System is entrusted to the Head of the QMS (RQAS) who has been delegated specific authority and responsibility.
